Online Yearbook is a full school yearbook built for the phone first. The complete book -- not a trimmed-down preview -- reaches every family's screen the day it publishes, with no wait for a print run. Families who want a printed copy can order one shipped to their door, so no boxes pile up in the front office.
Opens on any phone. No app to install, no account to create.
Print is an option, not a requirement
Less overhead for the people running it
How it works
No student gets left out of the book
Traditional yearbooks have a hard ceiling. School budget and what a family can afford end up deciding which kids take a book home and which ones don't. Online Yearbook is built so cost isn't the thing that leaves a student out: every family gets the complete digital edition, the real book, not a stripped-down free version. For us that's the reason the product exists, not a feature we tacked on.
Opens on any phone. No app to install, no account to create.
You send a link. Families open the yearbook the way they open anything else, from a text or an email, on whatever phone they already carry. Once it's open they can search it, flip through it, and send a favorite page to grandma. There's nothing to install and no login wall to get past.
Print is an option, not a requirement
Families who want a physical book can order one and have it shipped to their door. Advisers stop having to guess quantities or front the cost, and there's no pile of unclaimed copies sitting in the office come spring. The digital edition is complete and published no matter how many print orders come in.
Less overhead for the people running it
Once you publish, distribution is automatic. No sorting books by homeroom, no inventory to track, no returned-to-sender packages to chase down. You build the book and hit publish, and it goes out to families on its own. The adviser gets to spend their time on the actual book instead of the logistics around it.
Every student. Every screen.
Online Yearbook is part of the Homeroom family of school publishing tools, built by people who have spent years in K-12 photography and yearbooks. We think every student deserves to be in the book, and we're building the software to make that real for the students who usually get left out.
